We provide dog walking/playtime, pet sitting, large animal/farm care, special needs care (including seniors & medication administration), overnight care, limited boarding and pet taxi service. For your peace of mind, we are insured through Underwriters at Llyod’s, London.
For the farm community in Hunterdon, we provide farm care for your horses, sheep, goats, chickens, cattle etc. HBPC Owner Karen Basmagy is a former local farm owner and 4H leader, with a degree in equine farm/business management. She's raised horses, goats, and chickens and taught husbandry to Hunterdon County kids as a 4H leader....

All the farm care staff assigned to large animal and farm care has solid, prior experience handling various horse, farm pets and livestock, so you can be assured they will all be in good hands.
The HBPC Story

Hunterdon’s Best Pet Care (formerly Creature Comforts Pet Sitting) has been resurrected through the powers of the Universe. I closed CCPS in 2010 following some significant life and career changes, including a move out of state. In November 2016 I excitedly moved back to Hunterdon to be near my mom, family and my beloved surviving horse Prince, in the county I loved once again...despite the fact that there had been no promotion or advertising, within 6 months people began calling me to book pet sitting services! I didn't even have a website and had not marketed myself as a pet sitter since 2010! Obviously the Universe has other plans for me :)
Now that the flames are being stoked once again, my business continues to grow. I anticipate building an amazing team of sitters and expanding out into other areas within the county. So if your town isn’t listed on our site reach out to me, if we can add you to our roster we certainly will!
